Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to lift the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts could not move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
In cases requiring high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would often utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is designed to lift employees is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
