Manitou offers many different telescopic forklifts, several that are rated as the most versatile machinery on the market these days. All telehandlers by Manitou come with a standard 4-wheel drive, designed for use in rough terrain environments, and in outdoor settings. The lift capacities vary from 35,000 lbs. to 3000 pounds. The equipment are capable of lifting heights ranging up to 70 feet on several units.



These telescopic forklifts are equipped with different steering modes available for crab steering and 4-wheel steering. Frame leveling, outriggers and Hydrostatic transmissions are amongst the other alternatives available for these units. These machinery can also use a wide array of attachments like: buckets, truss jibs, rotating carriages, fixed carriages, winches and grapples. There is a huge variety of telescopic forklifts on the market and hence, many various configurations. Be sure to do your research in order to choose the right one for your specific use.



When dismounting a lift truck, there are some specific things to take into consideration. When dismounting for instance, make sure to face the vehicle and to never jump from it. Maintain a 3-point stance, which means to consistently have both hands and one foot or vice-versa in contact with the equipment. Be sure to wear oil resistant and non slippery shoes as proper protective shoes can definitely help to keep you safe.
