Liebherr-International AG is the holding company of the Liebherr Group. They are situated within Bulle, Switzerland and are completely owned by the Liebherr family members. Now, the family business is being managed by Dr. H.C. Willi Liebherr and his sister Dr. H.C. Isolde Liebherr in the 2nd generation. Ever since the year 2012, some of the active individual divisions have been represented by family members in the 3rd generation including: Sophie Albrecht, Jan Liebherr, Stefanie Wohlfarth and Patricia Ruf. These members of the family have been working together to help set up the course of the family business in the future. They are staying on top of residential buildings and large-scale industrial projects across the globe.
Hans Liebherr began to build his business during the year 1949, in a small town called Kirchdorf within southern Germany. Kirchdorf, presently supports among Liebherr's 20 manufacturing locations.
