The most active parts of any warehouse are the shipping and receiving docks. These active areas can become very crowded. The forklifts have to provide exceptional visibility, be as compact as possible and extremely maneuverable. Lift truck operators who are working on a dock should step off of and onto their lift truck for the length of their shift. In order to answer all of your horizontal transporting dock needs, Yale spotlights the MPE unit.
Yale features the single reach NR and double-reach NDR units for aisle widths of 8 to 10 feet. Narrow aisle applicants increase the ratio of storage space to aisle width. Yale machines feature best-in-class ergonomics. The Yale Narrow Aisle forklifts provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment. This features various configurations for stance options and control handle.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: On the Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment, there is a choice between the fore/aft stance or side stance. It also features a range of different control handle configurations so as to meet different types of operations.
AC Motor Technology: Featured on the AC Motor Technology is the strong speed, exceptional lifting speeds and fast deceleration, and quick plugging options. This allows the machine to combine responsive directional changes so as to increase the number of loads transported during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: the Reach Assembly and Mast features tapered roller bearings and trunion mounting to improve overall rigidity and mast durability. It also is reinforced for a long life with a gusseted rear frame weldment and extra reach-assembly welding.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry-leading lowering speeds, when these are uploaded; productivity and throughput are enhanced throughout the model.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering feature lessens battery changes per shift by maintaining lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The Electronic steering option is a ground-breaking solution that decreases energy by using hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller can be adjusted by the operator and the steer effort can also be adjusted by the technician in order to help reduce operator fatigue. When starting up the equipment, the drive tire centers automatically as well.
Yale has applied the above features along with many others in order to develop an excellent product line which will keep customers coming back in the future. There are various options available within the fleet. If you are unsure of what particular features you will need more often than not in your application, be sure to go to your local Yale dealer and their experienced employees could help you determine your best options.
