End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance features which are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift units.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an ideal option for applications which require regular off and on access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
Many companies utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments could arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a way that is safe and efficient.
All standard reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The blades also include a hydraulic system that enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the tines to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
