Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Back-Up or Motion Alarms:
The audible devices like back-up alarms or motion alarms produce sound that needs to be very loud in order to be heard above the noise which the forklift creates in the operating place.
The sound generated by the audio device should be discernible from other audible devices or noises from the work environment. The sound should also be different from the other sound or audible devices in the work area. The audible device could employee noise exposure and end up contribute to OSHA noise limitation; hence, care must be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to determine which distance and direction it is coming from. Audible devices could occasionally get deactivated from both operators and employees since they can find them very annoying. Also, audible devices may also be objectionable to residents nearby.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are used to help prevent injuries and reduce other issues. Moreover, these cabs feature an emergency exit via removing the window. The levels of noise are lessened at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each and every specific application, the operator could choose the performance need. What's more, it enables a supervisor to set the utmost performance of a unit for an operator who is just beginning to learn. Being able to adjust and reduce the maximum performance of the model allows a new operator to learn the operating features of the machine in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is disabled, a supervisor is required to activate and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machine in a more controlled way.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These specific mirrors help to assist the operator in observing their tail swing area, and operating space behind the vehicle.
